NAFTA

I'm probably going to get stomped on for this but I actually think NAFTA is a good idea. Why? For no other reason than to curb the influx of Mexicans coming into our country and taking our jobs. Mexicans come here mainly to escape poverty. Once they are in America, they take jobs from American citizens. The only way to stop illegal aliens is to make their homelands desireable enough for them to stay there. You don't see us with a huge Canadian illegal alien problem. That is because Canada's economy is much like ours. Yes, we are losing jobs with companies going to Mexico but we have lost far too many jobs from Mexicans entering our country illegally and taking our jobs. It might not seem like a good idea in the short-term but building Mexico's economy will only help us in the long run.
