My Front Door

Your home's entryway is the first thing that people see about the private you.

What does your front door look like? (Color, materials,design, glass sidelights, etc.) I have a gray wooden door with six small rectangular windows on top. I also have a white screen door.

I have an invisible fence so my pups roam freely. When they want to come in the house, they scratch like crazy. I am forever repainting and using various strange techniques to cover things up.

Just my luck, they like to ruin both doors. Jekyll takes care of the screen door. Hyde, who thinks he's slick, opens the screen door, and proceeds to ruin my wooden door.

One day I started the lawnmower and it startled Hyde. He quickly darted to the front door, jumped up, turned the handle and ran into the house so fast that I was hysterical. I wish I had that on tape.

Do you decorate it for seasonal holidays, or is it always the same? No, I don't decorate because again, the dogs would ruin it.

42. When you go to buy bread in the grocery store, have you ever wondered which is the freshest, so you "squeeze" for freshness or softness? Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Each day has a different color twist tie. They are:

Monday = Blue,

Tuesday = Green,

Thursday = Red

Friday = White and

Saturday = Yellow.

So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)! The colors go alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday! Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.

Pass this information on to friends so they can be informed also .
