Weekend Topic
- If you can create your own TV station, what would be it's theme or focus? I'd like it to be like Bravo was when that channel first came out. It had a lot of live performances and all kinds of artsey stuff. I'd have anything to do with self-expression - music, art, dance, theatre, fashion.
- How good are you at putting together 'Assembly Required' purchases? Not very. There's always something that holds me up, either a part I can't find or I can't get the part to fit as it shows in the picture. Rarely, if ever, does it go smoothly.
- Would you plunge into the ocean, much like the Polar Bear Club does, in subzero degree weather for $1,500? You also have to stay in the water for at least 5 minutes. I'd like to think I would but I might chicken out at the last minute.
- Do you own a raincoat? If so, do you use it? Yes, I do. I usually wear it, when I remember.
- If you are stopped at a red light, no cars are in sight in any direction, would you go through the red light or wait for it to turn green? I'd probably wait a little while to give it a chance to turn green. After a few minutes, I'd most likely go through it.
- If you see someone stealing an expensive item in a store, would you report them? Not sure
- If you have a story that you'd like to tell us, we'll all ears (eyes?). I said good-bye to one of my co-workers a few hours ago. He leaves for basic training for the Marines on Wednesday. He joined the infantry, which virtually guarantees he'll go to Iraq. I hope and pray he stays safe.
